Description

The Department requires a new fitout of its premises at 3-5 National Circuit Barton of approximately 16,416m2. The Works will be delivered in 5 stages with staff remaining in occupation throughout delivery. Stage 1 includes the consolidation of the Australian Government Solicitor from their current premises at 4 National Circuit into 3-5 National Circuit as well as the delivery of ground floor front of house amenities and a dedicated conferencing suite. Timeframes for Stage 1 must align with end of lease arrangements to vacate 4 National Circuit in July 2027. The overall target date for final completion of all 5 stages is late 2028. The Department’s primary objectives are: delivery of the Works and the Contractor’s Activities to meet the Statement of Requirement, plans and drawings; achievement of all timeframes, particularly the completion of the ground floor reception and front of house meeting spaces, ground floor Barton wing office space and Level 1 works included in Stage 1 of the Project; and control of costs to ensure value for money is maximized.
