Description

50Hertz Transmission GmbH establishes an open qualification system (OQS) for medium-voltage switchgear with a rated voltage (Ur) of 36 kV (single busbar) for its substations in Germany. The purpose of the OQS is to qualify and maintain a broad pool of suitable suppliers, on which subsequent procurement procedures (e.g. framework agreements) will be based. The system is open to new applicants throughout its duration: Starting in 2026, it is currently open ended. Applicants who successfully qualify and are awarded in a subsequent tender must deliver on the following scope: Development, supply, factory testing, delivery, unloading, installation, assembly, and on-site testing of the MV switchgear offered. Qualification is offered for two categories: 1) switchgear with a GWP < 1 or insulation gases free of fluorinated greenhouse gases according to EU regulation 2024/573, and 2) switchgear with insulation gases with a GWP ≥ 1000.
