Urgency: Die Angebotsfrist soll gemäß § 15 Abs. 3 VgV auf 16 Kalendertage, gerechnet ab dem Tag nach Absendung der Auftragsbekanntmachung, verkürzt werden. Accelerating the delivery of ambulances to Syria is a matter of saving lives, not merely shortening procurement timelines. Years of conflict and ongoing insecurity have severely damaged healthcare infrastructure, disrupted emergency services and limited access to functioning hospitals, leaving critically ill and injured patients particularly vulnerable. In response to the urgent request from the Syrian Ministry of Health, every day gained through earlier ambulance delivery creates additional opportunities to save lives. Accelerating the procurement process will help make these essential ambulances operational sooner, enabling timely emergency response, life-saving care during transport and faster referral to appropriate hospitals for patients whose survival may depend on immediate medical intervention.
