Description

The 2d Reconnaissance Battalion (2d Recon) requires a contractor to furnish, deliver, support, maintain, and recover two 7-meter-class rigid-hull inflatable boats (RHIBs) for training operations at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The contractor shall maintain one additional fully compliant RHIB at a Contractor-controlled location as a contingent standby vessel, available to replace a primary RHIB within 48 calendar hours following a Contractor-responsible failure. The requirement includes compatible trailers; required navigation, communications, and safety equipment; delivery and return transportation; vessel documentation; maintenance records; technical support; and corrective-maintenance coordination. The contractor must deliver two compliant primary RHIBs no later than 16 November 2026 and maintain their availability through 28 February 2027. The Government will provide fuel, consumables, and training execution. Solicitation M67001-27-Q-0013 is for commercial RHIB rental and support services; award will be made to the responsible quoter whose conforming quote is most advantageous to the Government considering price, technical capability, and past performance.
