Description
Drammen kommune skal erstatte den eksisterende, nedslitte brua til Batteriøya i Svelvik med en ny, sikker, funksjonell og kostnadseffektiv trebru, tilpasset områdets maritime preg. Brua skal krysse en ca. 52 meter bred kanal og dimensjoneres for gangtrafikk samt servicebil, ambulanse og andre kjøretøy med aksellast inntil 5 tonn.Fundamentet skal ha en forventet levetid på minimum 50 år, og tredekket minimum 20 år. For å ivareta kommunens drifts- og beredskapsbehov etableres brua med større bredde enn dagens konstruksjon, slik at den kan benyttes av service- og utrykningskjøretøy.
