Description
1. The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, wishes to commission research that will conclude an evaluation of the initial five-year commitment to deliver a Nature Restoration Fund (NRF). This research is being commissioned to build on the interim evaluation 2021-2024, to understand how the NRF has delivered against its stated outputs and outcomes, and how these relate to broader policy priorities and desired impacts for biodiversity, specifically as set out in the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy (SBS) and Delivery Plan. This work will also generate evidence to support a business case to inform proposals for delivering funding for nature restoration in Scotland in the future.
