Osa-alue kattaa terveydenhuollon henkilöstön käyttöön tarkoitetut henkilönsuojaimet ja muut suojaustuotteet. Tuotteita käytetään infektioiden torjuntaan sekä käyttäjän suojaamiseen tutkimus-, hoito-, toimenpide-, leikkaus- ja ensihoitoympäristöissä. Osa-alueeseen kuuluvat muun muassa hengityssuojaimet, suu-nenäsuojukset, kasvojensuojaimet, suojalasit, suojatakit, leikkaustakit, suojaesiliinat, hiha- ja kengänsuojukset, leikkauspäähineet, elvytyssuojat sekä muut vastaavat henkilöstön suojaamiseen tarkoitetut tuotteet.
