Description
Background Tønsberg municipality has a continual need for services and materials connected to control, prevention and control of pests in the municipality ́s buildings and associated facilities. The existing agreement expires and the municipality needs to establish a new framework agreement that ensures continued safe, efficient and predictable follow-up in the agreement period. The aim of the procurement is to cover the municipality ́s need for both planned and emergency services within pest control, at the same time that the municipality receives a combined and transparent agreement for the area. The framework agreement shall contribute to early pest detection, reduce the risk of consequential damage, strengthen health, environment and safety and facilitate equal practice and quality across the municipality ́s buildings and sites. The municipality emphasises a long-term cooperation with a tenderer who can offer professional advice, good documentation and close follow-up of the assignments. It is also important that the delivery supports the municipality ́s goal of efficient use of resources, good contract follow-up, as well as climate and environmental considerations in the implementation of the services. Description of the assignment The procurement is for a framework agreement with one tenderer for the delivery of services and accompanying material for the control and control of pests. The contract shall include both preventive work, periodic inspections and acute call-outs as needed. The delivery shall cover the municipality ́s need for municipal buildings as well as relevant outside areas and technical infrastructure, including, among other things, roads, water and sewage. The assignment includes pest control both indoor and outdoor, including pest management in kitchen areas and other vulnerable locations. The service shall mainly cover inspections, assessment of scope and reason, implementation of the necessary measures, use and delivery of necessary material such as traps and baiting stations, as well as written reporting for each assignment. The tenderer shall also be able to make recommendations on preventive measures and contribute to a better overview, traceability and history per building or facility. The assignment can include pest control, including rats, mice, wall animals, cockroaches, silverfish and beards, ants, moths and other relevant insects. The extent in the contract period can vary, and the stated volume is only an estimate based on previous consumption. The delivery shall therefore be scaleable and adapted to the municipality ́s actual need throughout the contract period.
