Description
Naar aanleiding van de fusie van de gemeenten Galmaarden, Gooik en Herne tot Pajottegem is het noodzakelijk de inplanting van de gemeentelijke werkplaatsen te herbekijken. Op dit ogenblik is de technische dienst gehuisvest in verschillende kleinere loodsen. We willen overstappen naar een situatie waar de relatief recente loods van Strijland behouden blijft en alle andere werkplaatsen worden verlaten om te vervangen door een nieuwe werkplaats op de grond in de Scheibeekstraat die al ter beschikking is. Deze ligt in industriegebied in het ‘RUP Lokaal Bedrijventerrein Herne’ en vlak naast ons recyclagepark wat alleen maar voordelen biedt.
