Das Ziel des Forschungs- und Entwicklungsvorhabens ist die Generierung, Validierung und Bewertung einer Methodik zur räumlich differenzierten Ableitung von Angebotsräumen für Erneuerbare-Energien-Anlagen als Grundlage für die kommunale Wärmebedarfsplanung. Dafür sind insbesondere Methoden zu entwickeln, welche einen integrativen Ansatz zur Analyse umfangreichen Rechtsgrundlagen gemeinsam mit verfügbaren Geoinformationen verfolgen. Im Zentrum steht die Entwicklung, Erprobung und Evaluierung von KI-Verfahren und einer Pilotanwendung zur automatisierten Ableitung von Potenzialräumen unter Berücksichtigung der Wärmebedarfe.
