Ziel der Ausschreibung ist die Beschaffung von Streusalz für den Winterdienst auf Landesstraßen im Bundesland Steiermark. Der Jahresbedarf an Streusalz für den Winterdienst auf Landesstraßen beträgt im langjährigen Schnitt 30.000 to. je Winterperiode. Im Beobachtungszeitraum der letzten 10 Jahre lag der geringste Verbrauch bei ca. 22.000 to. und der höchste Verbrauch bei ca. 48.000 to. Der Auftraggeber sichert jedoch eine jährliche Abnahmemenge von 20.000 to an Streusalz zu (Mindestabnahmemenge).
