Iceland – Construction work for sewage pipes – Framework Agreement for Trenchless Lining of Sewer Pipelines

Veitur ohf. intends to establish a framework agreement with up to two contractors for services relating to the trenchless lining of pipelines. The main scope of the framework agreement is the lining of sewer pipelines, including foul water and stormwater pipelines. The contracting entity reserves the right to use the framework agreement for the lining of water supply and district heating pipelines where permitted by its needs and the applicable technical requirements, material specifications, certifications and other requirements of the relevant utility system. The services may include, depending on the nature of each project, preparation of pipelines for lining; cleaning, CCTV inspection and condition assessment where required for the lining works; design and selection of lining solutions; supply, installation and curing of lining materials and associated system components; opening and finishing of connections, laterals and other connection points; testing, quality control and verification of completed lining; documentation and traceability; temporary and bypass arrangements required to maintain operation of the utility systems during the works; repairs and local rehabilitation associated with the lining works; and other specialised work necessary for completion of individual lining projects.
