De concessie omvat het organiseren en uitbaten van een jaarlijks kerstevenement met attracties, drank- en eetfaciliteiten in een typische winter- en kerstsfeer. De concessie voor diensten verleent het recht, onder de voorwaarden bepaald in de concessieleidraad voor de exploitatie van een kerstevenement op het grondgebied van stad Hasselt en in naam van stad Hasselt. De concessie wordt aangegaan voor het organiseren van 5 edities en kan mits expliciete goedkeuring van het opdrachtgevend bestuur éénmalig verlengd worden met 3 edities.(editie 2027 - max editie 2034).
