De Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten (VNG), samen met NVRD en Stichting Verpact, nodigt ondernemers uit om deel te nemen aan de Europese niet-openbare aanbesteding voor het contracteren van een professionele Meetorganisatie PMD. Deze organisatie wordt verantwoordelijk voor de regie, coördinatie en kwaliteitsborging van samenstellingsmetingen van ingezameld huishoudelijk PMD (Plastic, Metaal en Drankkartons) in Nederland. De Meetorganisatie stuurt meetbureaus aan, borgt de kwaliteit van het meetproces en rapporteert transparant aan de opdrachtgevers.
