Hankinnan kohteena on yhtäaikainen ihmisperäisen ja miesperäisen DNA:n kvantitointikitit (Simultaneous human and male DNA quantification kit). Tilaukset kittieristä tehdään sovitun mukaisesti vuosittain. Hankinnan osapuolet solmivat hankittavista kiteistä toistaiseksi voimassaolevan sopimuksen. Sopimus solmitaan Keskusrikospoliisin kanssa. Toimittajan tulee myös toimittaa kaikki tarvittavat komponentit, esimerkiksi ohjelmat ja kalibrointitarvikkeet.
