Norway – Architectural design services – Design/architecture for the new 22 July centre

The permanent centre shall work on the 22nd July so that it becomes a good national memorial and learning centre for the school system and the public. The competition is announced as one competition with three sub-contracts. We want to create a varied and dynamic visitor experience, but at the same time we want to ensure a general expression. The three sub-contracts consist of: Sub-contract I: 1) Vestre pavilion, where the centre's memorial zone with memory room will be located (architecture and construction of the memorial room, exhibition design for other memory zones with digital elements, and light design for the entire memory zone including the memory room. Tenderers shall deliver an architecture/design concept and building/construction drawings and light design with accompanying drawings). Sub-contract II: 2) Eastern pavilion and interim, where the story of 22 July and associated thematics shall be conveyed (exhibition design/scenography with construction, and light/sound design. Tenderers shall deliver a design concept and building/construction drawings including light design with accompanying drawings). Sub-contract III: 3) Reception and reception area (cupboard for the reception area, design and construction of the reception and proposals for lounge furniture). The estimated value of the procurement is from NOK 3,000,000 excluding VAT to NOK 19,000,000 excluding VAT. The estimated value is not binding for the contracting authority.
