Formålet med anskaffelsen er å inngå avtale med en leverandør som skal bistå med gjennomføring av en uavhengig faglig utredning av mulighet for reetablering av trikketilbudet på strekningen Øraker – Jar/Bekkestua.Utredningen skal gi et solid beslutningsgrunnlag for videre politisk behandling.Den uavhengige utredningen skal se på muligheten for å reetablere trikk til Bekkestua, innenfor Ruters og Sporveiens rammer.
