Description
Avinor plans to establish a qualification system for the procurement of security screening equipment for security checkpoints. It is announced as a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), where applicants with valid qualifications will be included in the qualification system. There will be ongoing admissions in the system and there will be a check that the qualifications are still fulfilled during the lifetime of the qualification system. The aim of the qualification system is to establish a system that ensures that Avinor gets the best possible coverage for procurements of security screening equipment regarding compliance to regulatory bodies and the newest available technology. This creates flexibility to hold competitions based on the current regulatory guidelines and the possibility to differenciate between central and local needs.
