Przedmiotem zamówienia jest usługa polegająca na odbieraniu odpadów komunalnych oraz ich zagospodarowaniu od właścicieli nieruchomości zamieszkałych i niezamieszkałych na terenie Gminy Szerzyny, w sposób zapewniający osiągnięcie odpowiednich poziomów recyklingu, przygotowanie do ponownego użycia i odzysku innymi metodami oraz ograniczenie masy odpadów komunalnych, ulegających biodegradacji przekazywanych do składowania. Przewidywana ilość zebranych odpadów w 2027 r. to 1300 MG.
