Der Märkische Kreis plant den Neubau eines Feuerwehrservicezentrums und eines Katastrophenschutzlagers. Der Neubau soll auf der Erweiterungsfläche zwischen der Rettungswache Rosmart und dem Parkplatz des Brandschutz- und Rettungsdienstzentrums an der Richard-Schirmann Straße in Altena schlüsselfertig durch einen Generalunternehmer errichtet werden. Das Gebäude soll nach DGNB Silber zertifiziert werden (DGNB Flex) sowie das Qualitätssiegel Nachhaltiges Gebäude erhalten.
