Upphandlingen omfattar hämtning och transport av: - farligt avfall som uppstår i kommunala verksamheter och som klassificeras som farligt avfall enligt bilaga 3 till avfallsförordningen (2020:614), - läkemedelsavfall som uppstår i kommunala verksamheter, oavsett om avfallet är klassificerat som farligt avfall enligt avfallsförordningen (2020:614) eller inte, - smittförande, skärande och stickande avfall som uppstår i kommunala verksamheter, till exempel inom undervisning, skolhälsovård och äldreomsorg. Upphandlingen omfattar även tillhandahållande av kärl och behållare samt rapportering av farligt avfall till Naturvårdsverket.
