Description

Ambition North Wales aims to appoint an organisation to identify and develop innovative, practical and scalable solutions that support transport decarbonisation across North Wales, improve accessibility to low-carbon transport, and support future infrastructure investment decisions. The project is intended to encourage innovative approaches that support the transition to low-carbon transport across North Wales. This includes challenging existing assumptions and considering alternative methodologies, technologies, delivery models or investment approaches where these can demonstrate greater impact, scalability, affordability or value for money. This proposed commission is subject to the successful award of funding by the Welsh Government through the Climate Innovation Programme Fund 2026-27 (DATGLOI) to Ambition North Wales. We expect to receive notification during the week commencing 26th October 2026. Ambition North Wales will be using the Innovate UK Contracts for Innovation form of contract. This form of contract supports development of innovative solutions to challenges faced by the public sector.
