Avinor AS will implement a competition for a concession contract for the hire of area for business activities within Bank and Exchange services at Oslo Airport, Bergen Airport, Stavanger Airport, Trondheim Airport, Kristiansand Airport, Ålesund Airport, Harstad/Narvik Airport, Bodø Airport, Tromsø Airport and Molde Airport. int-rules

The reason for the cancellation is that Avinor has become aware that there are uncertainties in a qualification requirement. Tenderers are required to confirm that the tenderer ́s business is legal in Norway it has not been clear what is the signing date and the signing date will also be postponed when the tender deadline is postponed. Avinor considers that there is real legal uncertainty connected to the qualification requirement and also whether the tender competition can be legally continued. There is, therefore, a justifiable reason for cancelling the competition, cf. the concession contract regulations (KKF) § 12-4 first paragraph.
