Description
Der Ausschuss für Planung, Bauen und Stadtentwicklung der Stadt Mönchengladbach hat die Neuaufstellung des Flächennutzungsplans (FNP) für das Stadtgebiet beschlossen. Fachlich wie prozessual ist es sinnvoll, grundlegende Zielsetzungen nicht erst im Zuge des formellen FNP-Verfahrens, sondern bereits im Vorfeld im Rahmen einer konzeptionellen Vorplanung zu erarbeiten. Daher soll der o. g. Raumstrukturplan als vorgelagertes Planungsinstrument der konzeptionellen Vorarbeit dienen und wird den fachlich-räumlichen Orientierungsrahmen für die künftige Stadtentwicklungsplanung darstellen.
