Ground given for limiting competition
The buyer’s own stated reason for awarding without open competition, as published. Their assertion, not a finding.
As evidenced by the previously published notices, this contract was subject to a lengthy, two-stage further competition tender process. The College has subsequently issued a UK5 notice to address the fact that the original UK2 notice, although successfully published on Contracts Finder, was not issued on Find a Tender via Multiquote. For the avoidance of doubt, this contract was awarded following the further competition process and was not the result of a Direct Award.
