Norges vassdrags- og energidirektorat (NVE) har ansvaret for å forvalte landets vann- og energiressurser. Vi skal sørge for sikker strømforsyning og å bedre samfunnets evne til å håndtere flom- og skredfare.NVE har hovedkontor i Oslo og regionkontorer i Narvik, Trondheim, Førde, Tønsberg og Hamar. I tillegg har vi fjellskredovervåkingen i Stranda og Kåfjord.
