Description

These roles form an agile team, with the Data Lead managing the three Data Analysts. The team supports the objective of enhancing supervisory effectiveness through better use of entity and regulatory data — transforming how Supervision teams identify risks, prioritise interventions and monitor firms through data. The FCA is running a testing programme of a new data collection for funds. We want to know whether the data we’re collecting enables fund supervisors to draw actionable insights. To do this, we need to present the test data to them (e.g. In a dashboard), collect their feedback, and act on it; this could mean redesigning the dashboard, or identifying a data gap that should be fixed. We expect this team to be operating for 3-4 months with the potential to extend some or all members of the team.
