Dunea heeft onderzocht of voor de betreffende toepassing gelijkwaardige alternatieven op de markt beschikbaar zijn. Uit dit onderzoek is gebleken dat geen ander gecertificeerd product beschikbaar is dat over de voor Dunea vereiste functionele en technische eigenschappen beschikt. De RenoJoint van Prince Kunststof Infra B.V. beschikt over de benodigde producteigenschappen en certificeringen voor deze specifieke toepassing. Op basis van het uitgevoerde marktonderzoek concludeert Dunea dat geen redelijk alternatief of substituut beschikbaar is en dat de opdracht om technische redenen uitsluitend door Prince Kunststof Infra B.V. kan worden uitgevoerd. Dunea is daarom voornemens de opdracht door middel van een onderhandelingsprocedure zonder voorafgaande bekendmaking aan Prince Kunststof Infra B.V. te gunnen.
