Die AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH betreibt am Standort Wien, Giefing-gasse u.A. einen Prüfstand für Luft-Wasser-Wärmepumpen. Dieser ist hinsichtlich sei-ner Leistung begrenzt, Aggregate mit größerer Heizleistung können damit derzeit nicht entsprechend den gültigen Normen geprüft werden. Auf Grund der steigenden Leis-tungen am Markt verfügbarer LW-Wärmepumpen steigt auch der Bedarf an Prüfkapazitäten für Wärmepumpen größerer Leistung.
