Description

The NPWS now wish to commission a comprehensive work programme to include planning, design and completion of a suite of site-specific bird surveys within the main terrestrial habitats in Páirc Náisiúnta na Mara, Ciarraí – namely NPWS lands at Inch, Mountain Brandon Uplands and Owenmore valley, [and the Blasket Islands], as well as in suitable ‘control locations’. All species other than seabirds are of interest, including but not limited to, any Qualifying Interests listed on overlapping SPAs, e.g., Peregrine, Chough, and wintering waders and waterfowl. Tenders are sought for the design, planning and implementation of such surveys which are required to be of sufficient scope and standards to meet the requirements laid out in this request for tender.
