Aufgrund des maroden Zustands, des bestehenden Instandhaltungsstaus sowie der langjährigen Witterungseinflüsse sind dringende Sicherungs- und Instandsetzungsmaßnahmen an der Klosterruine zwingend erforderlich. Im Jahr 2022 wurde ein Instandsetzungs- und Konservierungsgutachten erstellt, dessen denkmalverträgliche, substanz- und befundschonende Maßnahmen Grundlage der Ausführung sind.
