Description

De vorige aanbesteding is in gezamenlijkheid opgepakt met de andere Waddeneilanden en het Waddenkantoor. De overige Waddeneilanden, Ameland, Vlieland, Schiermonnikoog en Terschelling en het Waddenkantoor hebben bij de vorige aanbesteding gekozen voor een periode van 4 jaar met mogelijkheid tot verlening van 2 jaar. Texel koos voor een periode van 2 jaar met een mogelijkheid tot verlenging van één jaar. Inmiddels is gebruik gemaakt van de verlengingsoptie en loopt het contract met de huidige accountant ETL Assurance en Overheidsaccountant af per boekjaar 2026. Vanaf het boekjaar 2027 is de gemeente Texel op zoek, via een openbare Europese aanbesteding, naar een nieuwe accountant.
